Mr. Caster, 84, passed away on the anniversary of his wedding date. He was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Joyce L. Bobzien Caster, who passed away in March 2010. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Father Patrick Caster and Father Kevin Caster. He was an Air Force veteran and a retired employee of the Kentucky Department of Education in Frankfort, KY. He taught German, Latin and English for many years in the local Catholic high schools as well as Ursuline and Spalding Colleges. Owen was a long time volunteer at the Filson Historical Society and the Brennan House Historical Home. He was a member of St. Martha Catholic Church and a graduate of St. Mary College in St. Mary, KY, followed by Xavier University Graduate School of English, in Cincinnati, OH. He is survived by his children, Owen K. Caster III (Eva), Marianne Miller (Bob); grandchildren, Winston, Laurie, Colleen, Abigail, Andrew, Sarah, and Michael; great-grandson, Kaleb; brother, Robert J.
