Randall “Randy” Greco, of Niles, passed away peacefully on May 3, 2016. Beloved husband of RoseMary; loving father “papa” of Deanna (Adam) Jones and Becky (Dan) Stavin; dear brother of Ronald (Andrea) Greco; fond bro-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend to many.Randy was the eptiome of a family man. Married to his best friend and high school sweetheart, RoseMary, for 46 years. Their marriage was filled with love and laughter. They emboided the word soulmates. Together, they have two daugthers, Deanna and Becky, whom he just adored. He loved being their “papa” and when they both got married, he made sure his son-in-laws knew he was always going to be the top dog! Randy always loved to take family vacations, but his most favorite spot to go with his family was Door County, Wisconsin. He loved the tranquilty up there and all the memories of summers past it held for his family.It was Randy’s dream to own a boat one day, and sure enough he made it come true. During the summer, you could find him up on Fox Lake on his pontoon. He loved to entertain and was always very hospitable, which is why the boat was always full of family & friends. To finish the day, he would play bartender and make you probably one of the best drinks you’ve ever had!Always quick to lend a helping hand, he was an active member in many local organizations including the Niles Lions Club, the SJB Men’s club but he was most dedicated to the Niles Chamber of Commerce. Being a small business owner himself, he really drove home the importance of shopping local and supporting small businesses to anyone he met. Recently, he was most proud of the 2014 Roses Public Art Program which he created and chaired.
