OUELLETTE Raoul Guy passed away peacefully with his family and loved ones at his side on March 14, 2016. He was born in Lewiston, Maine on March 7, 1932 and preceded in death by his parents, Edouard and Emmeline Ouellette; Aline Ouellette, his wife of 54 years. He is survived by his wife, Janice Marie Cupples; his daughter Diane Parker whose husband Paul Parker is deceased; his two children Grant and Riley Parker and his granddaughter, Michelle Davis (Nick) with great grandchildren, Riley, William and Caroline Davis; his son Eddie Ouellette (Linda) with grandchildren Katie Pridemore and great grandchildren Grady and Keely Pridemore, and grandchildren, Connor, Logan, and Hagen Ouellette; his brother, Robert Ouellette (Joyce) and their five children with numerous nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces. Raoul graduated from University of Maine with business degree and received an MBA from Xavier University in Cincinnati. He was in the Air Force for eight years, and retired as a Major. While serving, he was on the B-52 bomber during the Cuban crisis, then he flew F-89 fighters in Air National Guard for six years. Raoul worked for IBM for 31 years in Product Planning, sold equipment in Maine for four years with IBM until he moved to Lexington in 1968 where he worked for IBM that also took him to Europe. After retirement, Raoul worked for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Lexington newspaper, Cross Roads in advertising for 12 years. As the Pilgrimage Coordinator, he led 12 European tours and one to Israel for Cross Roads. Raoul loved to fly, took tons of photographs of travels and family, loved to travel, and enjoyed being a Deacon. He volunteered twice a week at St. Joseph Hospital and once a week at Central Baptist Hospital. Raoul was active in Knights of Columbus, Serra Club, and was a retired Deacon at Christ the King Cathedral.
