Louisville – Age 90, passed away at home on July 16, 2018. He was born in Loretto, Ky. He is preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers, 2 sisters, and infant grandson, Philip James. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 63 years, Betty; sister, Hazel Miles; and brother, Rev. Joseph Lyon. He will be missed by his 5 daughters, Ann Hunter (Kevin), Carol Knight (Joe), Peggy Hall (Joey), Joan James (Louis), and Paula Mattingly (Keith); as well as 16 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren. He loved them all and his Yankees. He attended St. Meinrad for 6 years, worked at Falls City and Dupont, and was a member of Incarnation Catholic Church.
