Rev. Don L. Peterson, 65, died unexpectedly from cancer. Fr. Pete was the founding rector of St. Patrick’s Episcopal Church in Dublin. He served as the priest associate at St. John’s, Worthington and assistant rector at St. James, Clintonville. He was a graduate advisor at The Ohio State University.Fr. Pete was a member of the American Guild of Organists. Don had a lifelong love of music and was a talented musician. After suffering a stroke in 1987, Fr. Pete created a ministry. Counseling other stroke patients and their families. He will be remembered by his family and friends as a loving father and grandfather, noted for his wit and the way he lived his life. Pete lived what Jesus preached – love one another, take care of the poor and vulnerable and be at peace. Survived by his wife Beth; children, Leslie (James) Russell, Jeffrey (Margaret) Grubb, Sarah (James) Beeh, Rachel (Matthew) Morey; mother, Helen Peterson; grandsons, Connor and Ian Grubb; three brothers and three sisters; other relatives and friends.
