On 30 March 2014, Thomas Michael “Moose” Moore from Waverly, Kentucky was welcomed into heaven. He joined the Air Force in 1975. He served as enlisted and rose to the rank of Captain. He was a Gulf War veteran as an EOD technician before retiring with 21 years of service. He earned his Master’s Degree at Troy State.After his military career, he worked as a Program Manager with General Dynamics. His leisure time was spent with his wife of 42 years, Carol Moore, in and around the Niceville area. He was known for his unique insight and quirky humor. He was often found participating in his favorite past times of riding motorcycles, boating, and enjoying good company.He was preceded in death by his father Thomas “Zooter” Moore and brother Donnie.He is survived by his mother, Elizabeth “Betty” Moore; wife, Carol; brothers: Gary, Bobby, Sam, Brad, and Kenny; sisters: Kathy, Debbie, and Vicki; son Shane; daughters: Bree and husband, Billy, Alarie and husband, Denmark, and Susannah; granddaughter Emily; and yellow lab, Jake.
