William Waller “Bill” Mahoney, 80, died at his home.Mr. Mahoney retired from Arvin Industries after many years of service. He attended Saint Meinrad High School, graduated from Indiana University, with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.A member of St. Bartholomew Catholic Church, he also was a member of Knights of Columbus Council 1414 and was a Past Grand Knight. He was a basketball coach, a lifelong Dodgers fan and an avid golfer.Memorial contributions may be made to St. Bartholomew Catholic Church.Born in Columbus July 14, 1929, Mr. Mahoney was the son of John A. and Mary Waller Mahoney.
