William Herman Muller passed away on July 3rd, 2018 at home surrounded by his loving wife and family. William was born on September 12th, 1930 to Louis and Elenora (Vaal) Muller in Evansville, IN. William attended Sacred Heart School and Memorial High School in Evansville. William graduated in 1954 from Meinard College and in 1958 from the University of Innsbruck, Austria. William was ordained a priest in March 1958 for the Catholic Diocese of Evansville, IN and served 12 years (1958-70) in the Diocese of Evansville in various capacities including Assistant Pastor, Pastor, Editor of The Diocesan Newspaper, Retirement Home Administrator and Chaplin. In 1971, he moved to Cincinnati, OH and married Stella Madeline (Merry) Weedman. While in Cincinnati he began an 18 year career in administrative management of retirement and nursing homes and apartments for the elderly and continued his career in Indianapolis, IN until 1997. Since 1997 William was a resident of St. Augustine, FL and served as a volunteer in the food pantry at Catholic Charities (1997-2014) and on the Board of Directors for Catholic Charities (2004-2010). William is survived by his wife of 46 years, children Nancy Cilento, Barbara Muller, Teresa Guard (Arthur), James Muller (Annmarie), Aurelia Muller, Kimberly Muller, Emily Firari (Ron), Anthony Muller (Barb) and Vincent Muller (Patricia) and his sister Sr. Rose Ann Muller of Louisville, KY, his brother Edward Muller (Sherry) of Evansville, IN and 24 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren and his nieces and nephews. Proceeded in death by his parents, his brother Eugene, grandson William (Billy) James Muller, great-great grandson Jordan Jones and Mother-in-law Madeline Merry.
