Reinstedler, William Louis, 85, of Louisville, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 03, 2016 with his family by his side.He was born March 12, 1931 in Louisville, a son of the late Louis “Pete” Reinstedler and Helen Mulligan Reinstedler.William was a graduate of St. X and was proud of being a veteran of the National Guard for over 12 years. He worked as a construction superintendent his entire career.In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his two brothers, Joe and Tom Reinstedler.He is survived by his devoted wife of 63 years, Helen Ebelhar Reinstedler; children, Tony Reinstedler, Julie Reinstedler, Amy Clark (Hal); five grandchildren, Molly, Harris and Blake Reinstedler; Logan and Brady Clark; sister, Mary Ann Landherr and numerous nieces and nephews.Bill, or Poppy as he was called by his family, had an outgoing personality that drew everyone to him. He was faced with many health issues the last 8 years, but he always stayed positive, with a smile on his face. He cherished his grandkids and was a lifelong supporter of the Kentucky Wildcats.
