Daming (née Schulte); dearest father of Kenneth (Kathryn) Daming, Randall (fiancée Susan Lanter) Daming, Karen (David) Meglio and Patricia (Robert) Ludwig; dear grandfather of Michael (Rebecca) Daming, John (Jennifer) Daming, Christopher (Lauren) Daming, William (fiancée Ana Santiago) Daming, Jason (Tara) Daming, Brian (Julia) Daming, Mark Daming, Abby Lanter, Molly Lanter, Amanda (Alex) Hoff, Christina (Kyle) Shockley, Matthew (Tasia) Meglio, Steven (Ted Rassieur) Meglio, Jeffrey (Brittany) Ludwig, Melissa (Zac) Boesch and Kevin Ludwig; great-grandfather of 24; loving son of the late Victor and Margaret Daming; brother of Steve (Linda) Daming and the late Margaret (Hubert) Kegley, Carlos (survived by Phyllis) Daming, Joyce (Robert) Seib, Virginia (Marion) Coleman, Robert (survived by Linda) Daming and Harold Daming; our dear brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle, godfather, cousin and friend of many.
Bill was born December 1, 1932, in Rockport, IN to Victor H and Margaret K (née Jones) Daming. He married Janice L. (née Schulte) Daming on May 4, 1957, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Rockport, Indiana. Bill graduated high school from Saint Meinrad Seminary in St. Meinrad, IN before earning his associate degree in Electronic Engineering at Capitol Radio Engineering Institute.
Bill enlisted with the US Air Force where he served in Germany and North Africa. After the service he was employed with McDonnell Douglas St. Louis, Hopmeier Audio (electronic and medical equipment sales), and Baird-EMI-Audiology. Bill was an active and faithful member of St. Thomas the Apostle, St. Rose Philippine Duchesne, and St Clare of Assisi. His love of working in his woodshop will be remembered fondly by his children and grandchildren with the many handmade treasures in their homes.
