Description of Work: Volunteers will join the St. Louise Parish and St. Madeline Sophie Parish in weeding and improving the landscaping of the Friendly Village, a senior housing and mobile court community operated by Catholic Housing Services. This project is suitable for all ages and abilities, and no prior experience is required. Volunteers are asked to bring work gloves, a water bottle, a sack lunch, rakes, shovels, hoses, etc.
There is no cost to participate, and each volunteer will receive a free t-shirt (this year in black), courtesy of the Saint Meinrad Alumni Association. Due to production timelines, t-shirts may be distributed to volunteers following the service day. You do not need to be an alumnus of Saint Meinrad to participate. All are welcome.
Volunteers are asked to register by March 7 to ensure an accurate count of volunteers for the site. To register, click “Register Now”, or call the Saint Meinrad Alumni Office at 800-682-0988.
